By completing registration, submitting payment, or attending the Event, the Participant acknowledges and agrees that:

3. Event Participation
The Participant acknowledges that the Nordic Chase 2026 is a self-supported ultra distance cycling event requiring significant preparation, fitness, and self-reliance.
The Participant agrees to:
Participate entirely at their own risk.

Be physically present for accreditation on the official check-in day prior to the start of the Event.
Accept that the Organizer may alter, postpone, or cancel the Event if conditions pose a safety or operational risk.

Detailed sporting rules, self-support principles, conduct requirements, and penalty structures are defined exclusively in the Race Rules & FAQ, available on the Nordic Chase website.
4. Tracker Terms
Tracking devices are supplied by Follow My Challenge (FMC). Once a tracker is handed to the Participant at the start of the Event, the Participant assumes full responsibility for the device.
A refundable deposit of €150 is required per tracker.
The deposit represents the retail value of the device and will be retained in the event of loss, damage, or late return.
The tracker must be returned to the Organizer no later than one week after the Participant finishes or withdraws (“scratches”) from the Event.
If the tracker is lost, damaged beyond repair, or not returned within the deadline, the €150 deposit will be withheld on behalf of Follow My Challenge.
The Participant is responsible for understanding how the tracking system operates and for ensuring that the tracker remains charged, functional, and securely attached for the duration of the Event.

The Participant may withdraw consent at any time by contacting info@nordicchase.com. Withdrawal applies to future use only and does not affect materials already published prior to the request.
8. Ticket Policy & Force Majeure
Refund and Transfer Policy
All tickets purchased for participation in the Nordic Chase 2026 are strictly non‑refundable. This non‑refundability also applies to any ticket upgrades. The event requires substantial advance planning and the upfront procurement of event materials, including GPS trackers, which cannot be cancelled or recovered.
Tickets for the Nordic Chase 2026 may be transferred to another eligible rider, but transfers to any other edition of the Nordic Chase are not permitted. It is the participant’s sole responsibility to identify and secure a replacement rider.
To request a transfer, the original ticket holder must notify the Nordic Chase organizers in writing (email: info@nordicchase.com) no later than 30 days prior to the race start date. This deadline is required to ensure sufficient time to update participant information and reassign GPS tracker details.
Transfer requests submitted after this 30‑day deadline cannot be accommodated.
Force Majeure
The Organizer reserves the right to cancel, postpone, or modify the Event in the case of force majeure, including but not limited to:
Extreme weather conditions
Natural disasters
Public health emergencies or pandemics
Political unrest
Any other circumstances beyond the Organizer’s reasonable control
In such circumstances, the Organizer will make reasonable efforts to reschedule or adjust the Event. However, the Organizer shall not be obligated to offer refunds or compensation for travel, accommodation, or any related expenses.
9. Intellectual Property
