The Participant’s personal data is collected and processed only for legitimate purposes related to the Event, as described in the “Purpose and Legal Basis” section, and handled in accordance with GDPR.

3. Purpose and Legal Basis

  • Manage registration and event logistics: Performance of a contract

  • Communicate safety information, updates, or emergencies: Legitimate interest

  • Operate GPS tracking during the Event: Performance of a contract / Legitimate interest

  • Publish race results, photos, or videos for marketing: Consent

  • Comply with legal obligations (e.g., accounting, tax reporting): Legal obligation

Consent may be withdrawn at any time without affecting prior processing.

4. Sharing of Data

Data may be shared with:

  • Event service providers (Follow My Challenge)

  • Sponsors/partners for marketing, only with consent

  • Authorities, if legally required

The Organizer does not sell personal data.

Data is retained only as long as necessary for event purposes or legal obligations, then securely deleted or anonymized.

The Participant has the right to:
