Race Director
Cycling has always been my passion, and I've ridden a number of ultra-distance events myself. Three years of living in Denmark has given me a proper feel for the region, the roads, the ferries, and the way a Nordic summer night never quite goes dark.
In 2025 I ran the first Nordic Chase, a 400 km race starting and finishing in Copenhagen, taking riders across Denmark and Sweden. Hosting that field was the best part of the whole thing.
In 2026 the Chase became a series, four races across Denmark, Germany, Sweden and Norway, with riders from more than 20 countries. 2027 goes further again.
Wim Sanders
Chief of Logistics
Wim is Gregory's father and the reason every rider gets their bag back at the finish. He's based in Belgium, and for every Chase he drives the whole way north to run logistics on the ground. Luggage van loaded, bags tracked, everything waiting at the finish line when riders roll in.
Between 2016 and 2018 the two of them rode together across Belgium, France and Switzerland. Those trips are where the idea for Nordic Chase started.
