A 400km ultra-distance cycling event spanning Denmark and Sweden. Whether you choose to race, ride as a shared adventure, or challenge yourself, the event is about bringing together passionate cyclists.

The Route
The race covers 400 km on scenic roads, starting and finishing in Copenhagen.
The journey begins with a 60 km stretch across Sjælland, passing inland near Esrum Sø before reaching Helsingør, home to the historic Kronborg Castle. From Helsingør, riders take a short ferry ride to Helsingborg, Sweden (departs every 20 minutes, crossing time: 20 minutes).
In Sweden, you embark on a 300 km loop through rolling countryside, open fields, meadows, and dense forests, tackling challenging hills and passing through national parks. After completing the Swedish section, riders return via ferry to Helsingør for the final 40 km push to Copenhagen along the picturesque Strandvejen coastal road.
Riders can choose to complete the complete race in one or two days. Those riding non-stop will take on the ultimate challenge, while those opting for a two-day experience are recommended to stay overnight in Älmhult, which is midway along the route.
The majority of the route (95%) is asphalt and the rest are short smooth gravel sections
It’s up to you to decide which type of bike you choose, as long as it’s a non-electric bicycle. Most people opt for a road bike, but it’s also possible with a gravel bike, time trail bike, or mountain bike.

Registrations are limited to a maximum of 50 participants and will close on May 24, 2025.

Optional
Hotel night in Sweden (+120 Euro) - if you want to ride the race in two days then we can book a comfortable night at the IKEA Hotel in Almhult, situated in the middle of the 400 km route.
Not Included
Insurance: It is required that you have valid insurance that covers you in the event of unforeseen circumstances. The organisation will not provide any kind of insurance.
*Note: GPS tracker device rental and live tracking will be provided by followmychallenge.com
A refundable deposit of 150€ against tracker device loss or damage will be required for each rented tracker to be paid the week before the start. The deposit will be refunded when the tracker will be returned at the finish line.
